However, there’s divergence of opinion: some believe Joe Biden will remain the chosen candidate, while 38% express satisfaction with his continued journey.
While many Democrats are contemplating who could potentially replace Joe Biden, there is no unanimous consensus on the ideal candidate. Among the names circulating, Michelle Obama stands out as a popular choice, garnering support from 20% of the population. Her prominence and appeal have sparked considerable interest in her potential candidacy.
In addition to President Biden, other prominent figures like Vice President Kamala Harris and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were also discussed. However, fewer individuals expressed a preference for them. According to the survey, approximately 15% of Democrats are inclined to support Harris as a potential successor to Biden, while 12% believe that Clinton might still be a viable option.
Gavin Newsom 56 yer old, California Governor , with 11% backing from likely voters, is allegedly orchestrating a “shadow” campaign for the presidency. This strategic move positions him as a potential candidate should health issues compel President Biden to withdraw from the race.
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, at 52 years old, has garnered the support of 9% of likely Democratic voters.
About 27% of Democrats expressed dissatisfaction with the provided options and were unable to select an alternative they deemed superior to President Biden.
