Amid an ongoing Russian investigation into the tragic incident that claimed 143 lives at a concert venue in Moscow, Russia has expressed concerns over the swift attribution of blame by the United States. Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for President Vladimir Putin, criticized this prompt judgment as peculiar.
Following the tragic attack at Crocus City Hall, the United States and the European Union swiftly absolved Ukraine of any involvement. Instead, they attributed responsibility to the Islamic State Khorasan (Isis-K) as the sole perpetrator.
Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for President Vladimir Putin, voiced his skepticism regarding the swift and unequivocal narrative presented by the Americans. He found it curious that the United States had hastily declared a solitary explanation, hinting at a hidden agenda—perhaps an effort to divert attention from undisclosed matters.

The urgency with which the Americans embraced this singular viewpoint raises questions, especially in light of the ongoing Russian investigation into the tragic attack at Crocus City Hall.
The Russian law enforcement’s current endeavors to gain a definitive comprehension of the events appear to have been overshadowed by external statements.
According to a Russia Today report, the situation became more intricate when four Tajik nationals were apprehended early on Saturday while allegedly attempting to flee into Ukraine.
The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) identified these individuals as “radical Islamists”. However, President Putin highlighted that the attack still resembles the modus operandi of foreign backers of Ukraine, raising unresolved queries.
Maria Zakharova, the Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman, has also criticized the US for its unyielding rejection of Ukraine’s possible involvement. She contended that if Ukraine were truly innocent, the US would have supported a thorough investigation rather than outright denying Kiev’s participation.
Zakharova posed the question, “Based on what data and information?”, insinuating that the US’s swift defense of Ukraine might also be an attempt to divert attention from its own role in backing the Kiev regime.
“In order to deflect suspicions from the collective West, they swiftly needed a narrative. Thus, they invoked ISIS, revealing an unexpected card, and within hours of the terrorist attack, the Anglo-Saxon media propagated precisely these versions,” she said.
Zakharova expressed skepticism, asserting that it was “extremely hard to believe” that the Islamic State would possess the capability to carry out such an attack.
