Former British Prime Minister Liz Truss has unequivocally endorsed Donald Trump for the US presidency in the upcoming 2024 election. She asserted that his leadership would make the “world safer” and emphasized the need for a “strong America.”
She said, “I’m not saying that I agree with absolutely everything he’s ever said. But, I do agree that under Donald Trump when he was president of the United States, the world was safer.”
Liz Truss acknowledged that Donald Trump exhibited a more assertive stance towards Iran and China during his presidency. She also commended Trump’s unwavering support for Ukraine. When asked about her preference for Trump’s return to the White House, she emphatically stated, “it has to be”, during an interview with British news radio station LBC.
“He was more effective at curbing the expansion of aggressive regimes, and I believe our global situation would be markedly different had he been reelected in 2020,” Truss asserted.
