Apple has announced its first hardware event for 2024, which is scheduled for May 7th at 7 am PT / 10 am ET. The event, titled “Let Loose,” is likely to focus on new iPads, including updated iPad Pro and iPad Air models. These next-generation iPad Pro devices are anticipated to feature an M3 chip and OLED screens, marking a significant upgrade for the product line.
Apple dropped an invite for its virtual launch event on Tuesday (April 23). During the event, viewers can watch the live stream via Apple’s official website and the Apple TV app.

Apple is gearing up to unveil fresh iPad Air and iPad Pro models at their upcoming event. The iPad Pro lineup is poised to feature OLED screens and an M3 chip, along with thinner bezels.
Additionally, there might be glossy and matte screen variants as well as support for MagSafe wireless charging.
Keep an eye out for a revamped rear camera module and a front camera optimized for landscape orientation.
The upcoming iPad Air is expected to be powered by an M2 chip and will likely be available in both 10.9-inch and 12.9-inch screen sizes. Additionally, Apple might introduce an enhanced Magic Keyboard and an updated Apple Pencil featuring a new squeeze gesture capability to complement these new tablets.
This event comes just over a month before their annual developer’s conference, WWDC, which runs from June 10 through June 14.
