A man shot and seriously wounded two officers in a Paris police station on Thursday after grabbing a weapon. The officers had just arrested the man and were searching him when he seized one of their weapons and opened fire, according to a police source.

Following the arrest of the suspect, a sudden and unexpected act occurred the man seized one of the officers’ firearms and opened fire within the police station, resulting in serious injuries to two officers.
The wounded officers were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for immediate medical care, as relayed by French media sources.
The extent of their injuries remains undisclosed. According to reports, the shooting took place in the 13th district of Paris, just before 10:30 PM local time (2030 GMT).
According to early reports, the suspect was apprehended and taken to the police station for questioning related to a potential domestic violence incident. However, the situation rapidly escalated, leading to a violent confrontation that left two officers injured.
