In Portland, Oregon, at a historic amusement park, 28 individuals were saved following a harrowing thirty minutes suspended inverted atop an attraction in the United States.
On the inaugural day of its summer season, a Friday night, an incident occurred at the park. Following the deployment of emergency services, the ride was manually brought down, and all passengers were subsequently removed and subjected to medical examinations.
The amusement park officials stated that it took the emergency team approximately 25 minutes to respond following the initial call, as reported by The Associated Press.
No injuries were reported from the incident, but as a preventive measure, one individual with prior health issues was transported to the hospital for additional assessment.

A viral video on social media captured the scene of numerous riders suspended in mid-air on the ride. Named AtmosFEAR, this attraction functions as a pendulum, capable of inverting its riders fully.
Since its inception in 2021, the ride has operated without any incidents. The park has announced that the ride will be temporarily shut down.
In collaboration with the manufacturer and state inspectors, park officials aim to investigate the cause of the malfunction, as per the Associated Press.
