The Miss Universe organization’s decision to remove age limits allowed any woman over 18 to participate in the beauty pageant, a significant change from the previous restriction that only allowed women aged between 18 and 28 to compete.

“I am thrilled to be representing this new paradigm in beauty pageants because we are inaugurating a new stage in which women are not only physical beauty but another set of values,” she said after her win.
Alejandra Marisa Rodriguez hails from La Plata, the capital city of Buenos Aires Province in Argentina. As a lawyer and journalist, she has already secured the title of Miss Universe Buenos Aires 2024.
Now, she’s preparing to represent Buenos Aires in the upcoming Miss Universe Argentina competition scheduled for May 2024.
If she emerges victorious, she’ll proudly carry the Argentine flag at the global Miss Universe World competition in Mexico on September 28, 2024.
