The teacher’s response was defiant: “Do you think that affected me anyway?” she calmly asked after the initial impact. Undeterred, the juvenile offender retorted, “Want me to hit you again?” He then proceeded to slap the educator for a second time, knocking her glasses off.
“The *** is wrong with you? What are you going to do, still sit in that chair because you’re a ****? Ain’t nobody even coming; you got slapped,” the student screams in the aftermath of the violent incident.
The students who witnessed the incident responded with laughter, capturing the classroom assault on camera.
The student who was accused faced three misdemeanors: assault on a government official, communicating threats, and two counts of misdemeanor assault. The Forsyth Sheriff’s Office made this announcement shortly after the video went viral.
Sheriff Bobby F. Kimbrough Jr., as quoted by the New York Post, expressed collective outrage over the incident, emphasizing that the assault on educators is unacceptable and deplorable.
Additionally, Parkland High School Principal Noel Keener cautioned that the accused student would be subject to disciplinary measures, emphasizing that the student’s conduct did not align with the school’s standards.
