Ascending each step, a chill creeps up your spine. Stairs cast shadows of unease, causing even the bravest souls to hesitate. Whether it’s the creak of aged wood or the echo of footsteps behind you, stairs possess a haunting allure that sends shivers down your spine. In a video from China, people climb these stairs to reach the pinnacle of Mount Tai, the country’s renowned sacred mountain.
As they ascend, their once sturdy legs transform into wobbly noodles, protesting with each step.
During the grueling climb, fatigued climbers grip their sticks tightly, their legs quivering under the strain of ascending thousands of steps. Exhaustion takes hold, testing their muscles to their utmost limits.
A video shows healthcare workers carrying a person down the stairs on a stretcher, while others struggle to get up after resting. The monument in question officially has 6,660 steps, and the video has garnered nearly eight million views on X, with many users leaving humorous comments.
