During an Easter Sunday brunch service at a restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee, a tragic incident unfolded. One person died and four others were injured after a gunman opened fire.
Brunch service at Roasted, a well-known restaurant located at 614 Garfield St. in the Salemtown section of Nashville, a tragic incident occurred just before 3 p.m.
The survivors suffered either gunshot or graze wounds. Emergency responders swiftly transported them to a local hospital for medical attention.
Roasted, a bustling establishment, teemed with patrons when the tragic incident occurred. Among the crowd were children, partaking in a meal to commemorate the Christian holiday. Revelers danced to the beats of a DJ, sipping on mimosas and capturing moments with their cameras. Notably, Roasted’s Instagram stories featured a staff member donning an Easter bunny costume.
Detectives are actively investigating the motive behind a deadly shooting that occurred during Sunday brunch at Roasted on Garfield St. The incident resulted in the tragic loss of 33-year-old Allen Beachem’s life, and several others were injured, although thankfully their injuries are non-critical.
The shooting took place at 3 p.m., when an altercation between Rucker and another man escalated within the restaurant. According to Don Aaron, the public relations director for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, Rucker allegedly brandished a gun and fired multiple shots.

In a recent statement, the police have intensified their search for the suspect, Anton Rucker, who is a convicted felon. Rucker, aged 46, is wanted in connection with the homicide that occurred at Roasted Salemtown.
His criminal record includes aggravated assault convictions in Nashville. Additionally, he was arrested in Murfreesboro on felony drug charges last October 31st, and earlier in August, he faced agg assault and gun charges.
“Everyone was grabbing the children and running or dropping on the ground,” she said. “I got waves of chills because I could tell someone was hurt, just from the sound and that many gunshots,” Dia Settle said.
