The suspect, wearing a balaclava mask, exited the club and was promptly arrested. Fortunately, the last hostage has been released.

Special police units were dispatched to a building located in the heart of Ede, a town in the eastern Netherlands. Their mission was to address a hostage situation. Notably, authorities have clarified that there is no evidence of a terrorist motive in this incident, According to information shared on social media.
According to anonymous sources cited by the national newspaper de Telegraaf, a man armed with weapons and explosives took several people hostage inside the club.

Heavily-armed police swiftly cordoned off part of Ede, urging the public to stay away from the area and avoid watching the situation unfold. Approximately 150 nearby homes were evacuated as authorities dealt with this tense crisis.
