The Fresno Police Department in California has refuted reports that Goldy Brar, the gangster allegedly responsible for singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder, was shot dead. The police have categorically stated that such claims are incorrect.
After a confrontation, two men were shot in the vicinity of Fairmont and Holt Avenue in Fresno, California. Tragically, one of the victims succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at the hospital.
In the aftermath of this incident, numerous individuals on social media speculated that the deceased individual was Goldy Brar, a gangster based in Canada.
“If you are inquiring because of the online chatter claiming that the shooting victim is ‘Goldy Brar’, we can confirm that this is not true,” said Lieutenant William J Dooley in a statement in response to a query.
Lieutenant William Dooley clarified that they had received inquiries from various parts of the world due to the dissemination of misinformation on social media and online news platforms.
Despite the rapid spread of this rumor, it is unequivocally false. The victim involved in the incident is not Goldy Brar.
The man killed in the incident has been identified as Xavier Gladney, aged 37, lost his life in Fresno due to the actions of 33-year-old Darren Williams, who allegedly fired the fatal shot. Authorities are currently on the hunt for Williams to apprehend him.

According to their statement on Instagram, officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation at the intersection of Fairmont Avenue and Holt Avenue on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 5:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, they discovered Xavier Gladney with a gunshot wound. Despite being transported to CRMC, he was tragically pronounced dead.
“Officers immediately performed life-saving measures,” said Lt. Paul Cervantes with the Fresno Police Department. “Unfortunately, despite these life-saving measures — Mr. Gladney was pronounced deceased.”
Lt. Cervantes says both the victim and the suspect have an extensive criminal history and were a part of the same gang.
As in the case of Goldy Brar, a fugitive in India, has been designated as a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. He is suspected to hold a significant position within the criminal network led by incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
Brar gained notoriety as the prime suspect in the murder of rap star and Congress politician Sidhu Moosewala. He claimed responsibility for Moosewala’s murder, citing vengeance for the killing of a student leader in Punjab in 2022.
