Hanson, who worked at Hereford House Steakhouse, was apprehended after the FBI received a tip about videos showing food tampering. The investigation revealed that Hanson had urinated on the food and pressed it against his private parts.

Detectives, based on an affidavit dated April 26, received thumbnails from videos posted by a user known as ‘Vandalizer’ on thisvid.com. These videos depicted a man urinating into food stored in restaurant-style bins, pressing food against his genitals, and using his feet to handle the food.
Additional videos captured Hanson urinating on various food items within the restaurant, including sauces and desserts. Shockingly, he also recorded himself spitting on ‘everything’ in the establishment.
Concerned about unsuspecting customers being served contaminated food, the FBI traced a phone number they believed belonged to Hanson. The signal led them to the Hereford House parking lot, where they found a car registered in Hanson’s name.
Detectives interviewed the restaurant’s head chef and owner on April 25. The chef recognized his au jus sauce in one of the thumbnail photos.
Later, when Hanson stepped out of the kitchen, the police identified the shoes he had worn in his last three incriminating videos, as reported by the New York Post.
Although he confessed to masturbating in the restaurant’s walk-in fridge, he vehemently denied contaminating any food items with his bodily fluids.
When asked about his motivation, Hanson explained that he initially acted out of job dissatisfaction, but surprisingly, he continued even after finding pleasure in these disturbing acts.
Subsequently, he confessed to his actions, revealing that he had carried them out in response to requests from men on different dating apps.
Hanson faced arrest and criminal charges for making threats, a felony offense that could result in up to 13 months of imprisonment and a $100,000 fine. He was released on a $100,000 bond and is slated to appear in Johnson County District Court on June 6.
Authorities from the Leawood Police Department are seeking individuals who dined at the restaurant between March 26 and April 23 and subsequently fell ill.
According to the New York Post, Hereford House Steakhouse expressed their concern in a statement, acknowledging the distressing situation for both customers and everyone associated with the restaurant. Despite the challenges, they remain committed to serving all patrons.
