It is reported that the dispute arose over the cost of coffee and water purchased by the man from the shop, leading to police involvement and the commencement of an investigation into the matter.
The woman disclosed in a social media update that the man was an acquaintance who had previously displayed aggression towards her, marking this as the first instance of physical assault, according to her statement.
Most individuals we encounter during our work are wonderful, courteous, and simply remarkable. Yet sometimes, we encounter those who believe it’s acceptable to resort to verbal and physical aggression.
“He had previously shown aggression, but this was the first instance of him becoming physically violent towards me. He received what he purchased but was upset about the cost,” she stated.
Lee stated that the customer’s order of a 32-ounce coffee and a 24-ounce water came to roughly $22, as reported by Fox13. Nonetheless, the customer declined to pay the full sum, she mentioned.
The report indicates that Lee asserted her right to defend her property and claimed her actions were in self-defense. She also expressed readiness to accept any legal repercussions and affirmed her stance on the matter.
