An incident in the Los Angeles region resulted in seven people being injured, with four of them in critical condition.
An investigation is underway following a shooting in Long Beach, where seven people were wounded. The incident unfolded around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday in the vicinity of South Street and Paramount Boulevard, prompting a response from Long Beach officers.
A total of seven individuals sustained gunshot wounds and were either transported by emergency responders or self-transported to nearby hospitals.
Apart from the four critical victims, three individuals sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to the police.
The police reported that the perpetrator or perpetrators escaped before law enforcement arrived, and there were no immediate details regarding a potential reason for the shooting.
