Ankur Jain and Erika Hammond exchanged vows in Egypt during an opulent wedding ceremony. The festivities included an exclusive tour of the pyramids and Sphinx for their guests.
Interestingly, Jain initially considered an even more extraordinary venue: outer space. Reports suggest that he had dreams of getting married among the stars.
“My first pitch to Erika for the wedding was to get married in space,” Ankur Jain, the founder and CEO of Bilt Rewards, told People. So, why the change in venue? It turns out that it was Erika Hammond who had refused to get married in space. “I was like, ‘I don’t want to die on my wedding day!’” she told the outlet.
As a result of their compromise, Ankur Jain and Erika Hammond selected Egypt as their wedding destination.

Against the backdrop of the pyramids, they exchanged vows, with the esteemed Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass presiding over the ceremony, according to reports from People.
Ankur Jain, who had a magical experience visiting Egypt as a child, decided to make it the location for his wedding.
His motivation was to share his passion for ancient history with his bride. Jain expressed his fascination with ancient societies to People.
“The pyramids are just insane to see. You’re speechless. I can’t believe that this is even a part of our civilization,” Hammond added later.
Ankur Jain made a public announcement on Instagram two days ago, revealing his recent wedding. His heartfelt message expressed gratitude to everyone who joined in the celebration and to Dr. Zahi Hawass for officiating the ceremony.
Jain promised more photos and memories from the extraordinary event, which he described as an incredible few days.
The couple also delighted their followers by sharing videos and images of their joyous celebrations on social media.
