In California, USA, authorities apprehended a man on Friday after he was observed carrying the severed leg of an individual who had tragically lost their life in a train accident. Shockingly, a video circulating on social media captured the man swinging the leg and engaging in what seemed to be sniffing and consuming parts of it.
The incident is both gruesome and bewildering, leaving investigators with many questions about the circumstances surrounding the accident and the man’s disturbing behavior.
As reported by local news station KBAK/FOX58, the man extracted the severed limb from the railway tracks at the Wasco Amtrak station. In the video, he displayed an eerie calmness, seemingly unfazed by the presence of responding officers. Remarkably, he even offered a casual wave when he noticed the cameras capturing the bizarre scene.

In the video, the man’s demeanor is chillingly unsettling as he hysterically laughs, locking eyes with the person recording the scene. Meanwhile, a voice from behind, speaking in English, bluntly states, “He’s eating that s*.**”
Authorities swiftly responded to a distress call regarding a pedestrian—a woman—who had been struck by a train at the Amtrak Station, situated approximately 25 miles (40 kilometers) northwest of Bakersfield.
Subsequently, law enforcement officers discovered that a 27-year-old man named Resendo Tellez had purportedly tampered with evidence by removing the severed leg from the accident site.
He was subsequently apprehended without any altercation, as per KBAK/FOX58’s report. The arrest was made due to several outstanding warrants and for tampering with evidence at the scene.
