A disturbing video emerged online, showing at least four students from Deer Creek High School in Oklahoma engaged in an unorthodox and stomach-churning activity during a school-sanctioned fundraiser.
In the footage, these students are seen sucking and licking peanut butter off their peers’ bare feet while lying on their stomachs on what appears to be a gymnasium floor. The incident has sparked outrage and led to an investigation by the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
As the peculiar competition unfolds, a chorus of students cheers on the participants, while vigilant moderators observe the scene. Among the voices, one student exclaims, “He is wholeheartedly consuming those”.

The video gained millions of views on social media platforms and prompted an investigation by the Oklahoma State Department of Education. Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters took to X (formerly Twitter) and reacted to the horrifying footage.
He said, “This is disgusting. We are cleaning up this filth in Oklahoma schools. Our agency is investigating.” In another post, he added, “This is child abuse.”
As per the Deer Creek School District, the video was recorded on February 29, 2024, during the Clash of Classes assembly. This event was part of the high school’s week-long fundraising campaign to support a nearby coffee shop that employs individuals with special needs.
During the school’s Week of Fundraising, students from classes 9th to 12th enthusiastically volunteered their time to participate in a range of class competitions. These events included the rather unconventional toe-sucking tournament, which drew attention and intrigue. Remarkably, their classmates were willing to pay to attend these unique contests.
However, after celebrating the students’ spirited involvement and the impressive fundraising efforts that resulted in a substantial sum of $152,830.38, school administrators found themselves in an unexpected position. They felt compelled to issue an apology to both parents and students, perhaps due to the eyebrow-raising nature of some of the activities. The delicate balance between fundraising creativity and maintaining decorum had been momentarily disrupted.
In a communication addressed to the media outlet, the district expressed concern about a video circulating on social media. This video features an activity that exclusively involves students during a particular assembly. Regrettably, this video has garnered national attention. The district emphasises that much of the information accompanying the video is inaccurate.
However, the district acknowledges a lapse in maintaining the dignity of its students and the positive image of the community. Specifically, during this specific game, they fell short of their responsibility to protect and showcase their “Antlers” (presumably a school mascot) in a favourable light. As a result, they extend a sincere apology for this oversight.
They added, “Thank you for standing with us and helping us to weather this storm and move forward together. ”
A student spoke to Fox News and said, “It was surprising. I didn’t think they were going to do all that. I was just shocked. I didn’t really have like a feeling. I was kind of disgusted, and then kind of glad I wasn’t over there.”
“Whenever she told me yesterday that was happening, I had to ask her, ‘Wait, what? They’re licking peanut butter off of toes. What? I am all for fundraising and all for really fun and silly things, but that right there just seems a little excessive” a parent added.
The parent further expressed, “While it’s commendable that they raised a substantial amount of money, I believe there could have been greater accountability and ownership in their statement. Perhaps acknowledging, ‘Hey, we might not have fully thought this through.’”
Since being shared, the videos have garnered numerous reactions on social media. Many individuals have labeled the act as “disgusting.”
“When I was in high school, we sold candy to raise money,” shared one user. Another person commented, “What fresh hell is this?? This is beyond degrading”.
Another person commented, “What teachers were like, ‘Yeah, this is okay, lol.’” Meanwhile, another user expressed their disapproval, saying, “Disgusting! Who decided to involve kids in this for a fundraiser? These teachers and administrators are sick for approving it!”
