In a video captured during the incident, the older man was heard saying, “I’ll beat you up,” seemingly attempting to provoke a confrontation.
The altercation escalated as the 36-year-old advanced toward the 32-year-old, brandishing his firearm. Panic rippled through the other commuters, with some captured on video huddling on the train floor. A desperate woman implored the two men, “Think of the children!” But her plea fell on deaf ears.
Amidst the violent confrontation, the 32-year-old seized control of the situation, disarming his 36-year-old adversary. In a swift and decisive move, he pulled the trigger, and the 36-year-old took a fateful blow to the head, as confirmed by the authorities.
