“Okay, let’s go,” the Dubai Police officer reassures, gently lifting the cat. Despite its initial reluctance to release the car’s door handle, the feline finally relents. With a sense of relief, the officer cradles the cat, ensuring its safety as they move away from the floodwaters.
The frightened cat, visibly shaken by the harrowing experience, cast a longing glance back at the car that had provided it with temporary refuge during the crisis. This poignant moment was captured and shared by the Dubai Media Office on social media, touching the hearts of viewers worldwide.

Despite efforts to restore normal operations, the airport is still facing disruptions. As of Thursday morning, flights are continuing to be delayed and disrupted. The situation remains challenging, and passengers are advised to check their flight status and allow extra travel time to the airport.
Initially, cloud seeding, a process aimed at manipulating clouds to enhance rainfall, was attributed to the heavy downpour. However, a UAE government agency responsible for overseeing this process denied any cloud seeding operations occurring before the storm.
