The Apple Vision Pro is currently a hot topic. It has garnered a mixed response, with some people adoring it and others expressing doubts, but it’s undeniable that it has everyone’s attention. The hype is so palpable that even Mark Zuckerberg, Meta’s CEO, felt compelled to try out the headsets.
It could be that Zuckerberg was feeling a bit overshadowed by all the attention Apple’s headsets were receiving. After all, the Vision Pro is a major rival to Meta’s Quest 3 VR headsets. Consequently, Zuckerberg released a video in which he tested the Apple Vision Pro headsets.
Despite acknowledging their high-end specifications, he concluded that the Meta Quest is faster, superior, more cost-effective, and overall, a better choice.

In a video posted on Instagram, Zuckerberg made a comparison between the Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3. After spending a few minutes testing in the video, the head of Meta proclaimed that the Quest 3 is not only more affordable but also surpasses its competitor in every aspect. He was quoted as saying, “I don’t just think that Quest is the better value, I think Quest is the better product, period.”

In the video, Zuckerberg highlights the compromises Apple had to make to incorporate a high-end display into a wearable device. He asserts that the Quest 3, in comparison to the Vision Pro, boasts a lighter design, greater flexibility, and an expanded field of view.
He emphasizes that the Quest 3 is 120 grams lighter, which enhances its comfort for prolonged use. Furthermore, Zuckerberg commends the superior motion performance of the Quest 3, which is a perfect match for its wireless design.
